Hand-Carved Dodo Figure (Wood)

This hand-carved wooden dodo bird figurine makes a great decoration or gift.

The dodo was a flightless bird, about one metre tall, found exclusively in Mauritius. It fed on fermented fruits and nested on the ground. Research assumes that it became extinct in 1690. It regained popularity after its appearance in "Alice in Wonderland".
