Thai Pillows

The term Thai Pillow covers a wide range of Kapok-filled pillows and mats. These are traditionally manufactured in the South East Asia region and to this day in the rural areas of Thailand. They are "pillows" in the broadest sense, including triangular cushions, foldable mats with triangles, rollable mats, decorative pillows, floor pillows, and seat cushions. In addition, there are ergonomically shaped cushions for massage and bodywork of all kinds, such as Zafus, Zabutons, meditation pillows, Yoga props, and support cushions. Thai Pillows and Mats are available in all colours and shapes.

Thai pillows and mats are filled with Kapok, a high-quality natural filling material from the fruit of the Kapok tree. Kapok-filling is special because of its temperature and moisture regulating fibres, which create a pleasantly firm quality. The Kapok tree is a pioneer plant of the forest and therefore using the Kapok fruit protects the stock of Kapok trees. No chemical additives are used either during cultivation or after the fruit has been harvested. The filling of Kapok pillows, mats and cushions is, therefore, an authentic and sustainable raw material in harmony with the environment.
