To hang out. Whoever came up with this term – it might well have happened in a hammock... or in a hanging chair. This delightful piece of furniture combines free-swinging comfort with the advantages of a back rest. If the weather is fine, the hanging seat can easily be hung from a strong tree in the garden, for instance. Indoors, a hook might be used to install it in a variety of places. The hanging chair is not only a unique pleasure to sit in, it also looks very stylish: It's available either in a summer-like color splash of aqua, lime green and shades of red, or in timeless white. Woven by hand and made from 100% cotton, it's clearly made to last.
Optionally, there are matching cushions for this comfy hanging chair – a perfect match in terms of fit, color, and quality.

Exporsal: A fair weaving cooperative in El Salvador
The "valley of the hammocks" - that's how the area around San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, was once called by the natives. Today this is the place where you can find the headquarters of a artisanal cooperative that made the hammock a symbol for the arts & crafts culture of the Central American country: Exporsal has more than 200 employees - and many, many more as a buyer and distributor of artisanal products. The family venture has a clear policy: „Responsibility - for the people, and for nature". Hammocks, hanging chairs, and other accessories are produced on traditional looms, sustainability is an important concern. A sophisticated system supports the families of the artisans, and if they need to expand their workshop they are granted interest-free credits.
